Theology

Doctrine of the Church

Ron and John March 15, 2020

Background

What is the church? What role does it play in the lives of Christians? What is most important when it comes to choosing a church? What questions do we need to ask when we aren’t sure about our current church? In this episode, Ron and John look beyond programs, charismatic preachers, and surface “excitement” in local congregations to dig a little deeper into what really makes a church.

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Ephesians 2:19-22
