Ron Bentley did his Ph.D. work at the University of Virginia. He concentrated on early church history, roughly the first to the eighth centuries. He is an ordained minister with over a decade of experience in education in multiple contexts.
Ron actually started his professional life in electrical engineering. He got his Bachelor’s from Georgia Tech many … many … years ago. In fact, Ron currently makes his living working on software products for the electric power industry.
John Harman recruited Ron into Christian education when Ron was a lost and wandering Ph.D. graduate. He was looking for an outlet for his new-found expertise. He worked with John for 8 years on a church staff in McKinney, TX.
Feel free to wander over to Ron’s personal website for more information about his other interests and activities and how to contact him directly.
John Harman holds a Ph.D. in Old Testament and a Master of Divinity degree. He is an ordained minister and has more than 20 years of Bible teaching experience in church settings as an adult discipleship pastor.

John worked with Ron Bentley in the area of adult education and discipleship for eight years when both served on a church staff together in McKinney, TX.
